Stavix Connect APP ( Below referred as "Stavix Connect APP") is a free Mesh supporting software. The Application is developed, produced and sold by Zhuhai Gotech Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. ("Gotech" or "we" for short). As one of the largest domestic exporters of digital smart home terminals, an advocate and practitioner of intelligent life, Gotech has put forward a higher-level standard for the information security of our intelligent products to ensure that the company’s products or services could fully respect users’ personal privacy.

Gotech sincerely hope to explain to all users how we collect, use, store, share and transfer your personal information when using Stavix Connect account, as well as the methods we provide to access, update, delete and protect this information by this privacy and policy.


Please read and thoroughly understand this privacy and policy before using your Stavix Connect account, especially the terms marked in bold/ bold underline. Please be noted that to use our products or services after confirming your full understanding and consent after read it carefully. Unless the users agree and accept all the terms of this privacy and policy, users have no right to login or activate any part or all of Stavix Connect. Once users start using Stavix Connect ( including any partial or complete download, installation, registration, opening, login, browsing, purchase, customization, use, etc.), it means that you have fully understood and agreed to our privacy and policy, and agreed that Gotech follows the privacy and policy collects, uses, stores and shares user’s relevant information. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions about the content of this policy, it’s welcome to contact us through the various contact methods provided in this privacy and policy.


I. How we collect and use your personal information


The personal information will be collected and used by Gotech for the following purposes described in this privacy policy:


   1. Realize the basic functions of Stavix Connect personal account


     1) Collect information through registered account


       a. When users add a Stavix Connect account, download and update the Stavix Connect software, participate in online surveys, or participate in other interactions with us, we will ask for user’s information, including but not limited to user’s name, phone number, and email address , Geographic area address and email address, etc. This information is collected to help users complete Stavix Connect personal account registration and protect your account security. If users refuse to provide this information, users may not be able to successfully register Stavix Connect personal account.


       b. When users purchase Stavix Connect products and services, we will collect the relevant information, including but not limited to: delivery details, bank account, partial credit card information, billing addresses, credit risk checks, and other financial information, contact and communication records etc. The information we collect might be used to provide users with Stavix Connect’s products and services, process orders or fulfill user’s contract with Stavix Connect, to ensure the function and safety of our products and services, to verify user’s identity, and to prevent and investigate fraud or other improper use.


    2) Information collected indirectly


      a. When users use Stavix Connect products to share contents, send information and products with its family and friends, we will collect the information is needed provided related to the above-mentioned persons, such as name, email address, email address and phone number.


      b. In order to facilitate login to user’s Stavix Connect account, we might need to obtain and collect user’s third-party account information, such as nickname, avatar, etc., from a third party. If the personal information processing activities required by Stavix Connect to conduct business are beyond the scope of processing that users authorize and consent to a third party, we will obtain users express consent before processing your personal information. We will also strictly abide the relevant laws and regulations and require the third parties to ensure the legality of the information they provide.


    3) Account security


To ensure the security of your Stavix Connect account, we will record the date, time, IP, city and other information users registered, logged in and used in your Stavix Connect account for account security testing. At the same time, users can further strengthen the account security by binding mobile phone number and logging in email address.


   2. Location-based features


    1) When users use and start the Stavix Connect application for the first time, the router's mobile device unique identifier and approximate geographic location information will be sent to the server.


    2) When login to Stavix Connect account or activate the web messaging function, user’s mobile user identification information, mobile device unique identifier, phone number and approximate geographic location information will be sent to the server.

The collection of the above information will be suitable for account security detection based on your location, and recommending software features or content that you may be interested in at the same time. There are no other using purposes. Refusal to provide location information may prevent users from using location-based program services or functions.


The hardware identifier and geographic location information of user’s smart camera can be used to activate warranty service and specific software authorization, and may invite users to participate in the market survey. We also use this information to improve our products and analyze the efficiency of our business operations. But we will not use this information to track user’s location.


Users can also choose whether to provide information, and then modify the location settings of user’s device from the device settings, such as changing or disabling the location method or location server, or modifying the accuracy of user’s location information, thereby changing the location information provided to Stavix Connect .


    3. Information collected by cookies and other technologies

When users register or login to Stavix Connect account through website, we will apply Cookie technology and other technologies such as program language tags and web page headers to collect and store information in the website, in order to simplify the steps of repeated logins, help us remember user’s device and service preferences, analyze the use of our APP, and help users get a more relaxed access experience.

Of course, Users could also modify the browser settings to reject or accept cookies storage according to the needs, or users could delete them from storage device at any time, or notify when cookies are written.


   4. Improve our products and services


     1) The improvement of user experience


        a. When users register or login to Stavix Connect account via the wireless terminal, we may collect the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) and network device address (MAC) encrypted by the MD5 algorithm, the advertising identifier IDFA, device model, and system version Number, operating system version number, system number, system ID number, screen resolution, Internet type, version number of this product, the time and frequency of using a button, option values of some key configurations, software crash logs, etc. It’s used to count the number of users of our products, analyze the usage status of the products, troubleshoot the causes of crashes, reduce crashes, and continuously improve our products. This information does not involve private information such as personal identity.


       b. When users register or login to Stavix Connect account through PC products provided by Stavix Connect, we may collect IP address, the time and frequency of using a certain button, the time and frequency of using a certain page, and certain key configurations the option value, crash log, error log, etc., are used to count the number of users of our products, analyze product usage, page upgrades and revisions, browser compatibility detection, troubleshoot the cause of crashes, reduce crashes, and continuously improve our products . This information does not involve private information such as your personal identity.


     2) Solve the feedback


  Users could apply the "Help and Feedback" section to give us feedback on the problems user encounter when using Stavix Connect. Users need to submit the mobile phone number, email address or other third-party login account information to us so that we are able to contact users and answer feedback. We will analyze the information mentioned in the previous paragraph to find the cause of the problem and try to solve the problem. The contact information provided in feedback will only be used by our customer service to communicate and feedback. We will not provide any third party with the contact information user provide, except for the explicit consent of the user and the clear provisions of the law.


    5. Security


In order to improve the security of the services provided by us and our affiliates and partners, protect the personal and property safety of users or other users or the public from infringement, and better prevent phishing websites, fraud, network vulnerabilities, computer viruses, and network attacks , network intrusion and other security risks, and more accurately identify violations of laws and regulations or relevant agreement rules of Gotech. We might use or integrate user’s account information, device information, software usage information, and information that our affiliates and partners have obtained user’s authorization or shared in accordance with the law for identity verification, detection and prevention of security incidents, and to take necessary recording, auditing, analysis, and disposal measures.


    6. Other purpose


Under the premise of complying with laws and regulations, we might anonymous, aggregate, desensitize, and encrypt the personal information to form statistical information or user portrait (but the portrait cannot identify any individual user), and display and send the related services, products or functions. If we use information for other purposes not specified in this policy, or use the information collected for a specific purpose change to other purposes, we will seek your consent in advance.


   7. Exception with authorization


According to relevant laws and regulations, the collection of user’s personal information in the following situations does not require user’s authorization and consent:


     1) Related to national security and national defense security.


      2) Related to public safety, public health, and major public interests.


      3) Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgments.


      4) In order to protect the life, property and other major legal rights of the personal information subject or other individuals, with the condition that it’s difficult to obtain user’s personal consent.


      5) The personal information collected is disclosed to the public by user itself.


      6) Collect personal information from legally publicly disclosed information, such as legal news reports, government information disclosure and other channels.


      7) Necessary for signing a contract according to your requirements.


       8) It is necessary to maintain the safe and stable operation of the provided products or services, such as discovering and handling product or service failures.


       9) Necessary for legal news reporting.


      10) When it is necessary for academic research institutions to conduct statistical or academic research based on the public interest, and when providing academic research or described results to the outside, the personal information contained in the results is de-identified.


      11) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.


II. How do we store the personal information


The personal information we collect and generate in the local country will be stored in the local territory.


For the processing of cross-border business, if the relevant personal information collected needs to be transferred to overseas institutions, we will implement it in accordance with laws, administrative regulations and relevant regulatory authorities. We will ensure that user’s personal information is adequately protected, such as anonymous, encrypted storage, etc.


We only store the personal information within the necessary period for the purpose of this policy and within the time limit required by laws and regulations.


If we stop operating Stavix Connect's products or services, we will promptly stop continuing to collect user’s personal information, will notify of the suspension of operations in the form of one-by-one delivery or announcement, and delete or anonymous the personal information we store


III. How do we share, transfer and publicly disclose user’s personal information


   1. Sharing


We will not share user’s personal information with any company, organization or individual, except in the following circumstances:


     1) With user’s explicit consent, we will share the personal information with other parties.


      2) We might share the personal information externally in accordance with laws and regulations, the need for litigation dispute resolution, or the requirements of administrative and judicial organs in accordance with the law.


      3) To the extent permitted by laws and regulations, it is necessary to share the personal information in order to protect the interests, property or safety of Gotech, Gotech’s affiliates or partners, users or other Stavix Connect users, or the public from damage.


      4) In the case of our affiliates providing services to users or to us, we may share the personal information with our affiliates. However, we only share necessary personal information, and the processing of user’s information by related parties is subject to this privacy policy. If the affiliated company wants to change the purpose of processing the personal information, it will again seek user’s authorization and consent.


      5) Unless we have user’s explicit authorization and consent, we will not share the personal information with third-party advertisers, application developers, open platforms or other partners. We might provide these partners with aggregated information, anonymous information, or other information that does not identify users personally. For example, we may tell application developers how many people have installed the application they developed.


      6) Only for the purposes stated in this privacy policy, we might share the personal information with our suppliers, service providers, consultants or agents in order to provide better customer service and user experience. These vendors, service providers, consultants, and agents may provide us with technical infrastructure services, analyze how our services are used, measure the effectiveness of advertising and services, provide customer service and payment services, conduct academic research and surveys, or provide legal, financial and technical advisory services. For example, we may occasionally invite registered users to participate in sweepstakes. If users are lucky enough to win the prize, we need to provide the personal information to the logistics service provider in order to send users our prizes.


For companies, organizations and individuals with whom we share personal information, we will sign strict data protection agreements with them, requiring them to process personal information in accordance with our instructions, this privacy policy and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures.


    2. Transfer


We will not transfer the personal information to any other companies, organizations or individuals, except in the following circumstances:


       1) With the development of Gotech's business, we and our affiliated companies may conduct mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers or other similar transactions. If the relevant transaction involves the transfer of client’s personal information, we will require the companies, organizations and individuals that newly hold the personal information to continue to be bound by this policy, otherwise we will require the companies, organizations and individuals to re-obtain client’s authorization and consent.


       2) Transfer with client’s explicit consent, that is, after obtaining client’s explicit consent, we will transfer the personal information we have obtained to other parties.


      3) We will only publicly disclose the personal information under the following circumstances:


        a. User’s explicit consent has been obtained.


        b. In the case of laws, legal procedures, litigation or mandatory requirements of government authorities, we might publicly disclose user’s personal information.


        c.Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.


IV. How do we protect user’s personal information


We strive to provide protection for users of Stavix Connect, so that the information we store cannot be viewed, accessed, tampered with, disclosed or destroyed without authorization. To this end, we have specifically taken the following measures:


    1. We apply SSL to encrypt many services.


    2. We will review the information collection, storage and processing practices (including physical security measures) to prevent unauthorized access or access and malicious attacks on various systems.


    3. We deploy an access control mechanism on the server side, adopt the minimum sufficient authorization principle for staff who may have access to user’s personal information, and regularly check the list of visitors and access records.


    4. Our server systems that store users' personal information are all security-hardened operating systems. We will conduct account audit and monitoring of server operations. If an externally announced server operating system with security issues is found, Gotech will upgrade the server security immediately to ensure the security of all Gotech server systems and applications.


    5. It is regularly organized trainings on personal information protection related laws and regulations for staff to strengthen the staff's awareness of user privacy protection.


    6. In the unfortunate event that our physical, technical or management protection measures are damaged, we will promptly activate emergency plans to prevent the expansion of security incidents, report to the national competent authority in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, and promptly adopt reasonable pushes, announcements, etc. , In an effective way to inform users of the basic situation, possible impact, measures taken or measures to be taken, etc.


V. User’s right to manage personal information


During the use of Stavix Connect, users can access and manage the personal information in the following ways:


    1. Access and correct the personal information


Users could query and correct Stavix Connect information and other information users provide through Stavix Connect account, including password, gender, age, birthday, hobbies and other information.


    2. Delete user’s personal information


Users have the right to request us to delete user’s personal information when the following situations occur:


       1) We have collected the personal information without asking for user’s explicit consent.


       2) The processing of user’s personal information violates the requirements of laws and regulations.


       3) We have violated our agreement with users to use and process the personal information.


       4) Users have cancelled the Stavix Connect account, uninstalled, or no longer use our products or services.


       5) The services have been stopped providing to users.


Users can contact us to request deletion of the personal information through the methods provided in section 9 of this privacy and policy, and will be replied within 15 working days. When we delete user’s personal information from the server, we may not delete the corresponding data from the backup system immediately, but we will delete this information when the backup is updated.


    3. Cancel user’s personal account


Users could cancel the account at any time in Stavix Connect. Please be noted that if choose to cancel the Stavix Connect account, the Stavix Connect account will be unavailable and related account information will be deleted, and related services will also be stopped.


After users cancel user’s account, we will stop providing users with the corresponding products or services, and delete or anonymous user’s personal information within 10 working days, except in cases where laws and regulations require us to save relevant information.


     4. Withdraw user’s consent or authorization


Users could withdraw the consent to the collection and use of your personal information by turning off the device function. For this product, users could turn off the permission for us to collect user’s GPS location information through the settings of user’s phone.


Please understand that each business function requires some basic personal information to be completed (see the first section of this privacy policy). After users withdraw the consent or authorization, we cannot continue to provide users with services corresponding to the withdrawal of consent or authorization. The corresponding personal information will no longer be processed. However, user’s decision to withdraw the consent will not affect the previous processing of personal information based on user’s authorization.


VI. Protection of Personal Information of Minors


During the use of any part or all of Stavix Connect, we presume that users have the corresponding civil capacity. If users are a minor, we ask users to ask your parents or guardians to read this privacy policy carefully, and use our services or provide us with information with the consent and authorization of your parents or guardians. If users are the guardian of a minor, when you have any questions about the personal information of the minor you are guarding, please contact us through the contact information in section 9 of this privacy and policy.


Stavix Connect will not collect the personal information of the other party knowing that it’s a minor, nor will it disclose its personal information to any third party. The legal agent has the right to refuse Gotech and its affiliates to further collect the information of the minor , or request Gotech and its affiliates to delete the minor’s information. If it’s discovered that we have collected adult information without the consent of their legal representative, we will take steps to delete this information as soon as possible.


VII. The scope of application of the privacy policy


This privacy and policy only apply to Stavix Connect. Other Gotech products and services will use the privacy and policies of related products or services. In particular, it should be noted that this privacy policy does not apply to the following situations:


    1. Embed Stavix Connect products or services into third-party products or services, and information collected by third-party products or services.


    2. Information collected by third-party services, advertisements, or other companies, organizations, or individuals connected to Stavix Connect products or services.


VIII. Changes and revisions to the privacy policy


Our privacy policy might be modified. Without user’s explicit consent, we will not restrict user’s rights in accordance with this privacy policy.


For major changes to this privacy and policy, we will also provide noticeable notifications ( for example, when the software is revised or upgraded, or user’s login again, we will promptly notify users in the form of a pop-up window).


The major changes referred to in this policy include but are not limited to:


    1. Our service mode has undergone major changes. Such as the purpose of processing personal information, the type of personal information processed, and how the personal information is used.


    2. Significant changes have taken place in our control rights. Such as changes in owners caused by mergers and acquisitions, etc.


    3. The main objects of personal information sharing, transfer or public disclosure have changed.


    4. User’s right to participate in the processing of personal information and how to exercise it has undergone major changes.


    5. When the department responsible for handling personal information security, contact information and complaint channels change.

If users are not satisfied with our response, especially if users believe that our personal information processing behavior has harmed user’s legitimate rights and interests, user could also seek a solution by filing a lawsuit in the court, and at the same time users agree to hand over to Gotech where users have jurisdiction of the courts.


X. About exemption


Gotech does not assume any legal responsibility for the following related matters:


    1. For personal reasons, users inform others of user’s personal account password or share it with others, resulting in the disclosure of user’s personal information.


    2. Any temporary software shutdown caused by hacker attacks, computer virus intrusion or government control.


    3. Any consequences caused by force majeure.


     4. User’s personal information published with user’s explicit authorization in advance.


     5. Provide and publish user’s personal information in accordance with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, relevant government authorities or relevant stock exchanges.


     6. Provide and publish user’s personal information in order to protect the public interest.


     7. Provide and publish user’s personal information in order to protect our legal rights and interests.


     8. Other disclosures of user’s personal information that are not caused by Gotech.
